Keep Your Miniout Ready for Every Journey

Product Care

Proper use, regular cleaning, and correct storage help protect your Miniout Ace and maintain reliable performance over time. Follow these care and safety guidelines before, during, and after use.

Safe Use

Use Miniout Ace only as intended and follow these precautions to help protect the device and its filtration system.
  • Do not disassemble the product.
  • Do not allow children to operate the purifier without supervision.
  • Do not immerse the main purifier body in water.
  • Do not filter water above 140°F (60°C).
  • Do not freeze the device or operate it immediately after freezing.
  • Use Miniout Ace only for water filtration.
  • Do not place the device in a dishwasher, microwave, oven, or dryer.
  • Do not wash the filter with soap or full-strength antiseptic.
  • Never allow the drinking nozzle or the upper part of the built-in filter cartridge to contact untreated or contaminated water.

Charging & Battery Care

Proper charging and battery maintenance help keep Miniout Ace ready for continued use.
  • Do not use the purifier while it is charging.
  • Keep the USB-C charging port dry.
  • Do not damage, twist, pull, or crush the charging cable.
  • Do not cover the purifier while charging.
  • If Miniout Ace will not be used for an extended period, fully charge the battery approximately every 3 months.

Cleaning

Regular cleaning helps prevent buildup and maintain smoother water flow.
  • Clean the product regularly to help prevent clogging.
  • Wipe the main unit with a damp cloth.
  • Do not use sharp objects to clean the filter.
  • Do not use detergents, alcohol, or solvents on the filter element.
  • Do not squeeze, scrub, rub, or wring the pre-filter during cleaning.

For accumulated sediment or reduced flow, use the recommended backflushing procedure rather than manually scrubbing the filter.

Water & Filtration Care

For better filtration performance, always start with the cleanest available freshwater source.

Choose Your Water Source Carefully

Use the clearest and cleanest freshwater source available whenever possible.Do not use Miniout Ace to filter:
  • Seawater
  • Brackish water
  • Chemically contaminated water
  • Water from mining ponds or industrial areas
  • Water near agricultural contamination
  • Water affected by major chemical spills or other severe pollution events

Miniout Ace is not designed to make every water source suitable for drinking.

Use the Correct Filters

Only use compatible Miniout filter cartridges and make sure all filters are properly installed before operation

Filter performance and service life may vary depending on the water source and local water conditions.

After Extended Non-Use

If the purifier has not been used for more than 8 hours, discard the first 150 mL of filtered water before drinking.

Long-Term Storage

Proper drying and storage help protect the purifier, filters, and battery between trips.

Before Storage

Make sure no residual water remains inside the device before long-term storage.

Keep It Cool & Dry

Store Miniout Ace in a cool, dry place and avoid exposing the filter to direct sunlight for extended periods.

Protect From Freezing

Avoid prolonged exposure to extremely low temperatures to help prevent freezing damage.

Maintain the Battery

For extended storage, fully charge the battery approximately every 3 months.

UV Safety


Built-In UV Protection

Miniout Ace contains an internal low-power UV lamp that operates as part of the purification process.

Under normal operation, the UV lamp remains enclosed inside the device.

If the product is damaged and the UV lamp becomes exposed, stop using the product immediately and contact Miniout Support.

Product Disposal

Miniout is committed to reducing environmental impact throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Do not dispose of the purifier or filters with household waste where local regulations prohibit it.
  • Follow local requirements for electronic waste and plastic recycling.
  • Remove the internal battery before disposal when required by local regulations.
  • Dispose of used filter cartridges according to applicable municipal waste guidelines.
